The 27 September Demonstration
This demonstration was massive and got coverage on all the media.There is a growing realisation that this war will not go away any more than the Vietnam War did.  The march was smaller than the massive demonstrations on the eve of war when people believed that the government could not possibly go to war in the teeth of public hostility.
It is now clear that the dossiers which were used to let MPs  vote for war with a clear conscience were untrue.  Whatever the ins and outs of the relationship between government, "spooks" and BBC, it is clear that we were told untruths and it is beyond belief that the government thought their own propaganda was true.
